SummerStage: Teen Intensive (6 Weeks)

The Teen Intensive meets Mondays through Fridays from 9am – 4pm.

A conservatory program, the Teen Intensive will consist of professional training from actors and directors with extensive experience in the business. Actors will take classes in all of the theatrical disciplines (acting technique, musical theatre, vocal production, singing, dance, movement for actors, Shakespeare, improv and more). Comprised of one four-week section, this Intensive will culminate in a full theatrical production!

Teens have the option to extend to this six-week program. The final two weeks (August 2 – 13), students will serve as Teen Apprentices, participating as Assistant Directors and Stage Managers for a SummerStage production. Teens will work closely with the director and cast of a Young Actor or Tween show throughout their rehearsal process. Teen Apprentices will learn Stage Management during the final stage of the rehearsal process.
