Costuming the Musical with Rena (Ages 8-13)

We will learn about why costumes matter and how you can create your own. Students will find inspiration through a script, photos, music and others to design and construct their own costume!
Rena Gavigan is a teaching artist, director/choreographer, actor and stage manager. She loves teaching Costuming, Musical Theatre, Dance and Improv to her students and her favorite directing credits include Sweet Charity, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Matilda. Rena was cast in Arc's production of Merrily We Roll Along this past spring, and enjoys online play readings and theatre classes until we can continue in-person theatre production!
